Svetlana Zakharova in the program Amore

Multi award­‐winning Russian classical ballerina Svetlana Zakharova is a major star in the dance world, currently a Principal with the Bolshoi Theatre of Russia & Etoile with the Teatro alla Scala in the program Amore.

For this new production Svetlana Zakharova experiments with the classic and contemporary genre as she strives for new ways of artistic expression. The programme, the first ever to be commissioned by her, features new work inspired by this unique dancer, by three world­‐renowned choreographers: San Francisco Ballet choreographer Yuri Possokhov,     alongside Vienna State Ballet regular choreographer Patrick De Bana and honorary member of the National Board of German Ballet and Dance Theatre Directors, choreographer and artistic director Marguerite Donlon.
